Dr. Kimberly Beauchamp is a board-certified naturopathic doctor (N.D.).

After earning her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management from the University of Rhode Island, she went on to receive her doctoral degree from Bastyr University, the nation’s premier academic institution for science-based natural medicine. 

In 2000, Dr. Beauchamp co-founded South County Naturopaths in Wakefield, RI, where she was in private practice for four years. Her focus was on family medicine, with an emphasis on therapeutic nutrition, detoxification, botanical medicine, homeopathy, lifestyle and wellness counseling, physical medicine, and whole foods nutrition.

Dr. Beauchamp began working as a natural health writer in 2003, and has authored more than 300 articles about healthy living and self-care. She is a regular contributor to Healthnotes Newswire®an author and peer reviewer for Natural Standard, and the medical editor for RealizeHealth.org. She also provides new product design and consultation services for the natural health industry.

Dr. Beauchamp has been quoted in numerous publications, including Alternative Medicine Magazine, Woman's World Magazine, and Bottom Line Daily Health News, and is the author of the blog, Eat Happy.

Dr. Beauchamp is passionate about spreading the word of natural medicine through her life and writing. She is also active in her children's Waldorf school in the promotion of play-based learning and sustainable living.
