Dr. Kimberly Beauchamp is a board-certified naturopathic doctor (N.D.). After earning her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management from the University of Rhode Island, she went on to receive her doctoral degree from Bastyr University, the nation’s premier academic institution for science-based natural medicine.
In 2000, Dr. Beauchamp co-founded South County Naturopaths in Wakefield, RI, where she was in private practice for four years. Her focus was on family medicine, with an emphasis on therapeutic nutrition, botanical medicine, homeopathy, lifestyle and wellness counseling, detoxification, physical medicine, and whole foods nutrition.
Dr. Beauchamp began working as a natural health writer in 2003, and she has authored more than 300 articles about healthy living and self-care. She is a regular contributor to Healthnotes Newswire® and an author and peer reviewer forNatural Standard. She also served as the medical editor for RealizeHealth.org and is currently a Writing Specialist for Northeastern University's Online Writing Lab (OWL) in the College of Professional Studies.
